The National Center for Telecommunications Technologies, NCTT, is hosting an Advanced Curriculum Development Workshop June 26 - 30, 2000. The workshop will take place on the campus of Springfield Technical Community College and is designed for NCTT partner schools as well as educators with the appropriate prerequisite skills. The goal of the workshop is to integrate the three curriculum tracks: wireless, lightwave/photonics, and networking, leading to an understanding of the full spectrum of the telecommunications field. Each track will be repeated, enabling attendees to participate in two of the three curriculum tracks.
The weekly agenda, a detailed overview of each track are available on-line. If you feel you don't have the prerequisite skills needed to attend, keep an eye on this website for a two-part workshop later this year designed just for you! Please call the Center at 800-421-9556 and we will gladly answer your questions if you need more information.
Guidance counselors are also invited for a special two-day workshop designed to help them help their students explore education and career opportunities in the telecommunications field. See the agenda for guidance counselors.
